Repository write-token theft via unsanitized filenames
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Command injection in Meltano Hub before 923820d allows remote attackers to steal a write-scoped repository token through a pull request. The get_changed_files job in .github/workflows/test_dispatcher.yml inserts attacker-controlled filenames directly into a Bash command, so $(...) syntax executes on the runner. Any GitHub user can trigger the pull_request_target workflow from a fork, gaining runner code execution and access to the write-scoped GITHUB_TOKEN.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
