Stored XSS via unescaped selectForm option label
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Stored XSS in FOG Project before 1.5.10.1832 and 1.6.0-beta.2313 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The selectForm() helper in fogpage.class.php escapes the option value but inserts the database-sourced sysproduct label into HTML without output encoding. Exploitation requires a registered host's MAC address and an administrator to open Reports > Inventory, enabling session theft, data access, or administrator actions.
