CVE-2026-47685Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped inventory fields

Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026

Stored XSS in FOG Project before 1.5.10.1832 or 1.6.0-beta.2313 allows remote attackers to run script in administrators' browsers. The unauthenticated inventory service decodes and stores request fields without validation, while the Host Management Inventory page substitutes them into HTML without output encoding. Reachability requires a registered host MAC address and an administrator to view that host's inventory; execution can compromise the administrator's management-console session.
