Command execution via unsanitized pipe filename
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
Command injection in MolotovCherry Android-ImageMagick7 before 7.1.2-11 allows remote attackers to execute shell commands. OpenBlob treats a pipe-prefixed filename as a command for popen, while its sanitization fails to reject embedded backticks and double quotes. The vulnerable path exists only in builds configured with pipe support; a crafted filename reaching image processing executes with the application's privileges.
