Out-of-bounds read in Woof! before 15.3.0 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory or crash the game via crafted scanner input. The Unescape() function in src/m_scanner.c advances past a trailing backslash and reads beyond the terminating null byte. The CNA assessment requires no authentication or user interaction; the bounded consequences are memory disclosure and interruption of the Woof! process.
