File write via unchecked ZIP entry paths
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
Path traversal in TeamJCD JoyConDroid 1.0.93 and earlier allows remote attackers to write files via a crafted ZIP archive. UnzipUtil.java extracts archive entries without normalizing each destination path and verifying that it remains beneath the intended output directory. Exploitation requires JoyConDroid to process a malicious archive, after which files can be overwritten wherever the Android app's filesystem privileges permit.
