Path traversal in PraisonAI before 4.6.40 allows remote attackers to read host files through unauthenticated MCP tool calls. The workflow.show, workflow.validate, and deploy.validate handlers accept caller-selected paths, while _handle_tools_call forwards arguments without schema or containment enforcement. Default HTTP-stream authentication is disabled, exposing files readable by the PraisonAI process; validator errors disclose only fragments.
