Cross-tenant file disclosure via unchecked attachment path
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Authorization bypass in NocoDB before 2026.05.1 allows remote authenticated users to read cross-tenant files through the MCP API. The readAttachment tool streams a caller-supplied path from shared storage without confirming that its live file-reference row belongs to the caller's base. Exploitation requires a low-privilege MCP token and knowledge of an attachment path, and exposes files belonging to other bases or workspaces.
