Authenticated file read and overwrite via SQLite filename
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Path traversal in NocoDB before 2026.05.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or overwrite host files via a SQLite source filename. The SQLite client and base/integration create services pass a caller-supplied filename to fs.exists and fs.open('w') without restricting its path. Base-create permission is required; successful exploitation exposes internal or tenant databases and any host file the process can read or write.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
