Database reads via unescaped bulk groupBy column title
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
SQL injection in NocoDB before 2026.05.1 allows remote authenticated users with column-create permission to read connected database data. The bulk groupBy path passes a title-resolved column_name into three knex.raw() aggregations without quoting, escaping, or enforcing the sanitized-name allowlist. Exploitation requires an authenticated session with permission to create or rename columns; injected expressions can read data available to the connected database.
