Password disclosure via plaintext comparison timing oracle
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Observable discrepancy in NocoDB before 2026.05.1 allows remote attackers to recover legacy shared-view passwords via response timing. In View.ts and the enterprise dashboard model, the legacy fallback applies JavaScript strict equality to attacker-supplied passwords, producing length- and prefix-dependent comparison times. The oracle is unauthenticated but reaches only shared views whose plaintext passwords predate the bcrypt migration, and successful measurement discloses that password.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
