Insecure storage in the Datadog Android App allows physically proximate attackers to read operational data from plaintext SQLite files. Room writes notification details and recent search queries to LocalNotificationDatabase and SearchRecentDatabase without database encryption. Access requires a rooted device, exposed backup capability, physical-device handover, or forensic acquisition; the reported consequence is disclosure of stored monitoring metadata and queries.
