CVE-2026-47361

Notification dismissal via unguarded exported activity

Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026

Improperly exported activity in Datadog Android App before 5.9.2 allows local users to dismiss the Bits AI chat notification. BubbleChatActivity accepts an untrusted conversation_id and calls BubbleChatNotification.dismiss on exit, which cancels hard-coded notification ID 9201 without checking caller identity or conversation ownership. Exploitation requires a zero-permission malicious application on the same Android device; no chat content is exposed and the consequence is limited to notification dismissal.
