Administrative account creation via case-sensitive form-file validation
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Broken access control in TYPO3 CMS Form Framework allows remote authenticated users to create administrative backend accounts. FilePersistenceSlot::isFormDefinition compares the .form.yaml suffix case-sensitively, so mixed-case filenames bypass the upload restriction. Exploitation requires backend access with file write permission; a crafted form definition then executes arbitrary SQL and creates an administrative account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
