Application crashes via empty frames and cyclic parents
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Memory-safety flaws in Samsung Open Source rlottie before eae37633fda13ac05b25c6c95aacea4bc33c80a3 allow attackers to crash applications. Property::value() dereferences the first element of an empty frames array after parsing discards every keyframe, while Layer::matrix() follows cyclic parent references without a depth limit. Processing a malicious animation requires user interaction and can cause a null-pointer crash or stack exhaustion, with limited process-memory modification also reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
