Webhook payload disclosure via unrestricted redelivery channel
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Information disclosure in affected Discourse 2026 releases allows remote attackers to read webhook redelivery payloads over the network. The Jobs::RedeliverWebHookEvents job publishes full AdminWebHookEventSerializer JSON to /web_hook_events/ without group_ids, making sequentially numbered channels enumerable and unrestricted. An administrator must trigger redelivery; any authenticated user can subscribe, and anonymous access is sufficient when login_required is disabled.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 2026.1.0-latest, < 2026.1.4
- Affected versionversion=>= 2026.3.0-latest, < 2026.3.1
