Authenticated inventory-field deletion via missing authorization check
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Missing authorization in Admidio before 5.0.10 allows remote authenticated users to delete custom inventory fields through a POST request. The field_delete handler in modules/inventory.php validates only the caller's session CSRF token before ItemField::delete removes the field definition and associated item data. Any logged-in member can reach the handler under the default inventory setting; system fields remain protected, but affected custom data requires backup restoration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
