Authenticated file disclosure via unchecked Compose includes
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Path traversal in Arcane before 1.19.4 allows remote authenticated users to read backend-accessible files through project file APIs. ProjectService.CreateProject stores unvalidated Compose include paths, and GetProjectFileContent returns matching include content before containment checks run. Any user-role account can read files available to the backend, including Arcane's credential database, enabling account escalation and host control where Docker access is exposed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
