CVE-2026-47174Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated production deployment via trusted-branch confusion

Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026

Supply-chain compromise in Vantern Site before 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to deploy unmerged pull-request code to production. The deploy workflow treats workflow_run.head_branch as proof of a trusted main-branch build, then checks out the triggering commit and pushes it as the latest production image. Exploitation requires a pull request from a branch named main, automatic pull-request Actions, a configured production webhook secret, and no approval gate; successful use replaces the deployed site code.
