Mass notifications via unsuppressed ticket reason mentions
Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026
Output injection in Vantern Quest Bot before 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to trigger Discord mentions through ticket reasons. The ticket-creation flow inserts the modal's attacker-controlled reason directly into the bot's channel-opening message without escaping mention syntax or disabling allowed mentions. Exploitation requires a configured public ticket panel; mass notifications additionally require the bot to hold mention permission, and the consequence is unwanted pings that disrupt support workflows.
