CVE-2026-47160Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated SSRF via alternate-radix IP parsing

Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026

SSRF in Vaultwarden before 1.36.0 allows remote attackers to probe internal HTTP services through the unauthenticated icon endpoint. The icon client's should_block_address() rejects conventional private IP literals but fails to parse decimal, hexadecimal, and octal forms, while numeric hosts bypass post_resolve(). No authentication or user interaction is required; responses expose only parsed favicon images, timing, and size differences for blind network or port discovery.
