CVE-2026-47148Network attack vector

Process termination via malformed GetGroupMembership payload

Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026

Out-of-bounds reads in Silicon Labs Zigbee EmberZNet 9.0.2 and earlier allow remote authenticated users to terminate the process. The Groups cluster GetGroupMembership handler trusts a count that exceeds the supplied group-list length, repeatedly reading beyond the message payload. Exploitation requires a device already joined to the Zigbee network and an affected device that supports the Groups cluster; no data is returned to the sender.
