Stored XSS via unsandboxed SVG responses
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Stored XSS in Agent Zero before 1.15 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in its origin through crafted SVG responses. The image_get handler accepts an attacker-controlled path, serves permitted image extensions verbatim, and returns SVG content without a sandboxing policy. Exploitation requires a crafted SVG in a process-readable path and an authenticated user to follow its URL, enabling cookie theft and unauthorized API calls.
