Checkout skimming via unauthorized external-script setting write
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Missing authorization in FunnelKit Funnel Builder before 3.15.0.3 allows remote attackers to inject JavaScript into checkout pages. The public checkout AJAX controller dispatches a request-selected internal method without a capability check or safe-method allowlist, allowing unauthenticated writes to the global External Scripts setting. Any internet visitor who can reach a FunnelKit checkout can persist code that runs for later checkout visitors and can skim payment and billing data.
