CVE-2026-47090

Terminal output injection via unsanitized OSC hyperlinks

Published May 18, 2026 · Updated May 18, 2026

Terminal escape injection in Claude HUD 0.0.12 and earlier allows local users to alter terminal output through crafted project metadata. The hyperlink() path in src/render/lines/project.ts embeds raw cwd and branchUrl values in OSC 8 sequences without removing control characters or validating the URI. A local user must control a workspace path or Git remote, and a branch-link request requires a click; injected codes can forge prompts or write clipboard data.
