ACL disclosure via unchecked LISTRIGHTS authorization
Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026
Missing authorization in Project Cyrus Cyrus IMAP before 3.12.3 allows remote authenticated users to disclose mailbox ACL principals. The IMAP LISTRIGHTS command handler returns a named mailbox's ACL principals and rights without first requiring administrative access to that mailbox. Any authenticated user who can name a mailbox can obtain its access-control metadata, but the issue does not disclose message content.
