CVE-2026-47070Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential disclosure via unchecked cross-origin HTTP/3 redirects

Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026

Credential disclosure in Benoit Chesneau hackney 3.1.1 through 4.0.0 allows remote attackers to steal request secrets via redirects. The HTTP/3 handle_redirect/11 path forwards Authorization, Cookie, Proxy-Authorization, and 307/308 request bodies without comparing the new origin. Exposure requires follow_redirect, HTTP/3, and a malicious, compromised, or intercepted upstream; disclosure is limited to forwarded credentials and body content.
