Authenticated modification of Java VM data
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Database Java VM allows remote authenticated users to modify critical data through Oracle Net. Oracle has not disclosed the flawed Java VM operation or how it mishandles attacker-controlled input. Create Session privilege is required in affected releases 19.3 through 19.31, 21.3 through 21.22, and 23.4.0 through 23.26.2; successful attacks cannot read data or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=19.3 <=19.31
- Affected versionversion=21.3 <=21.22
- Affected versionversion=23.4.0 <=23.26.2
