Admin-triggered database hang or repeatable crash
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server and MySQL Cluster replication allows remote authenticated users to hang or crash the server. Oracle identifies Server: Replication as the affected component but has not disclosed the malformed operation or resource-consumption path that triggers the failure. High-privileged network access through the MySQL Protocol is required; affected releases are MySQL Server 8.4.0 through 8.4.10 and 9.7.0 through 9.7.1, and MySQL Cluster 8.0.0 through 8.0.47, 8.4.0 through 8.4.10, and 9.7.0 through 9.7.1.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
