Unauthenticated modification of critical data
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Java SE and GraalVM JSSE allows remote attackers to modify critical data through TLS requests. Oracle has not disclosed the defective JSSE API operation or the TLS input that triggers the integrity violation. Exploitation requires a difficult network interaction that supplies data to JSSE APIs, such as through a web service, and does not rely on untrusted applets or Java Web Start applications.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
