Unauthenticated hang or crash via connection handling
Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026
Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server and MySQL Cluster allows remote attackers to hang or repeatedly crash database services. The Server Connection Handling component accepts malicious traffic over multiple protocols, but Oracle has not disclosed the specific faulty operation. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient; affected versions are MySQL Server 8.4.0 through 8.4.9 and 9.0.0 through 9.7.0, and MySQL Cluster 8.0.11 through 8.0.46, 8.4.0 through 8.4.9, and 9.0.0 through 9.7.0.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
