Unauthenticated service hang or crash
Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026
Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Router 8.4.0 through 8.4.9 and 9.0.0 through 9.7.0 allows remote attackers to hang or crash it via TLS. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as Router: General and has not disclosed the TLS input or resource-handling operation that causes the failure. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful requests can hang the routing service or cause frequently repeatable crashes, interrupting database connection routing without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.4.0 <=8.4.9

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
