Stack-based buffer overflow in HP DeskJet All-in-One firmware before 2612A allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to execute code via WSD Scan. The MFP improperly validates and handles specially crafted WSD Scan requests, overflowing a stack buffer in an otherwise undisclosed processing locus. No credentials or user interaction are required, but the attacker must reach the printer on an adjacent network with WSD Scan enabled.
