Authenticated portal takeover via undisclosed access control
Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle WebCenter Portal 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over the portal. Oracle identifies the Security Framework as affected but has not published the access-control operation that mishandles authenticated HTTP requests. Low-privileged portal access is sufficient; exploitation grants portal control and can affect resources outside its security scope.
