Out-of-bounds write via font integer overflow
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
Integer overflow in Google Chrome Fonts before 146.0.7680.165 allows remote attackers to write outside memory bounds via crafted HTML. Chrome has not disclosed the affected font-processing routine or the arithmetic operation that overflows; the restricted bug record prevents a more specific mechanism description. A victim must load attacker-controlled HTML, after which the out-of-bounds write can corrupt the browser process; published sources do not establish code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
