Authenticated portal takeover
Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle WebCenter Portal Composer 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to take it over via HTTP. Oracle has not disclosed which Composer operation fails to enforce access control or how crafted HTTP input reaches it. A low-privileged account is required; successful exploitation grants control of the portal and can affect data and service behavior beyond its security scope.
