CVE-2026-46746Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via stored directory names

Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026

OS command injection in Siemens SINEC INS before V1.0 SP2 Update 6 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The /api/sftp/uploadFiles endpoint stores unsanitized shell metacharacters from crafted directory names and executes them while retrieving directory listings. A valid account is required, and commands run with the privileges of the sinecins service user on the underlying Linux host.
