Unauthenticated RCE via crafted cookie deserialization
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Insecure deserialization in affected Content Element Selector versions allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted cookie. The persistent-selection path passes the cookie value directly to PHP's unserialize(), instantiating attacker-selected serialized objects without safe processing. Exploitation is network-reachable without authentication but requires Persistent Mode: Static; success executes code on the TYPO3 server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
