File disclosure and outbound requests via OOXML entities
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
XXE in TYPO3 Faceted Search before 4.6.7, 5.0.0 through 5.6.1, 6.0.0 through 6.6.0, and 7.0.0 allows attackers to read local files. The file indexer's OOXML parser resolves external entities from crafted xlsx or pptx documents and writes retrieved local or HTTP content into the search index. Exploitation requires placing a crafted document in an indexed directory; successful access discloses parser-readable files or triggers server-side outbound requests.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <5.6.2
