CVE-2026-46709Public exploit

Code execution via unescaped dropped file paths

Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026

OS command injection in Eugeny Tabby before 1.0.234 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a crafted dropped file path. The injectPath method in tabby-electron/src/pathDrop.ts writes the path to terminal input without escaping dollar-parenthesis or backtick substitution syntax. The victim must drag the file and press Enter; the payload then runs with the receiving shell's privileges and can read, alter, or interrupt accessible resources.
