Unauthenticated phishing redirects via query-supplied destinations
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Open redirect in MRBS kiosk mode before 1.12.2 allows remote attackers to send users to attacker-controlled sites via crafted links. The kiosk-mode redirect handler places a query-supplied destination into an HTTP redirect without restricting it to a trusted site. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted MRBS URL, after which the browser reaches an attacker-controlled page that can impersonate the MRBS login.
