Authenticated code execution via stored template traversal
Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026
Local file inclusion in emlog 2.6.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute local PHP files through crafted articles. The article publishing path stores an unvalidated template value, and log_controller.php passes the resolved path to file_exists() and include. An author account, a known path to an attacker-supplied PHP file, and a subsequent article view are required for code execution in the web process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
