CVE-2026-46672Public exploit

Spreadsheet formula execution via unneutralized CSV cells

Published Jul 7, 2026 · Updated Jul 7, 2026

CSV formula injection in Actual before 26.6.0 allows attackers to execute spreadsheet formulas through CLI-generated CSV output. The @actual-app/cli escapeCsv helper quotes delimiters, quotes, and newlines but leaves formula-trigger prefixes in user-controlled cells unchanged. Exploitation requires controlled budget data, use of --format csv, and opening the output in a spreadsheet, enabling formula execution and data exfiltration.
