CVE-2026-46627Network attack vector

Service interruption via unbounded sandbox operations

Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Resource exhaustion in the Twig sandbox before 3.26.0 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via untrusted templates. The sandbox enforces code and data allow-lists but imposes no CPU, memory, or wall-clock limits, so large ranges, nested loops, recursive macros, expensive filters, or deeply nested includes can run without bounds. Exploitation requires an application to render attacker-supplied template source; the resulting workload can exhaust process resources and interrupt that application.
