CVE-2026-46611Public exploitNetwork attack vector

System monitoring data disclosure via unchecked Host header

Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026

Origin validation failure in the Glances XML-RPC server before 4.5.5 allows remote attackers to read monitoring data via DNS rebinding. The GlancesXMLRPCHandler in glances/server.py inherits the default request parser and accepts attacker-controlled Host values without validation. Exploitation requires a user to visit an attacker-controlled page from a browser that can reach the XML-RPC service; the read-only API exposes host, process, network, storage, and container details.
