Authenticated XSS via unencoded confirmation input
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Umbraco CMS 14.0.0 through 17.3.5 allows remote authenticated users to inject HTML into a Backoffice dialog. A Backoffice input field renders attacker-controlled markup in the confirmation dialog without output encoding; the vendor has not identified the field or rendering handler. A low-privileged account and user interaction are required, limiting the consequence to data exposure or alteration in the affected user's Backoffice context.
