Cross-origin monitoring data disclosure via wildcard fallback
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
CORS bypass in Nicolargo Glances before 4.5.5 allows remote attackers to read XML-RPC monitoring data through a victim's browser. GlancesXMLRPCServer.init collapses every multi-entry cors_origins allowlist to '*' and reuses that value for each response without checking Origin. Reachability requires XML-RPC server mode, two or more configured origins, and a victim who loads attacker-controlled content; exposure is read-only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
