CVE-2026-46592Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SOAP operation redirection via unfiltered control headers

Published Jul 6, 2026 · Updated Jul 6, 2026

Header injection in Apache Camel CXF SOAP allows remote attackers to redirect backend SOAP operations through crafted HTTP headers. CxfProducer trusts the operationName Exchange header when resolving the WSDL operation, while HttpHeaderFilterStrategy passes that non-Camel-prefixed header from HTTP ingress. An unauthenticated bridging consumer is required; the route's backend credentials then authorize the substituted operation, whose effects depend on the exposed WSDL methods.
