CVE-2026-46546Network attack vector

Visitor redirection via sanitized markup decoding

Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026

Stored HTML injection in Frappe Learning before 2.53.0 allows remote authenticated users to redirect visitors to attacker-chosen URLs. In lms/www/_lms.py, soup.get_text() decodes content already sanitized by nh3, reconstituting attacker-supplied tags when user-editable fields become page metadata. An authenticated account and a visitor who loads affected metadata are required; the demonstrated consequence is navigation to an attacker-controlled site.
