CVE-2026-46538Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated task-result injection via unchecked device binding

Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026

Task-result authentication failure in Microsoft UFO 3.0.1-4-ge2626659 allows remote authenticated users to inject peer task results. The completion path in message_processor.py forwards only session_id to connection_manager.py, which resolves the pending Future without comparing the sending device_id with the stored target. A connected peer must know or guess a pending session_id; a forged TASK_END can preempt legitimate work and supply attacker-controlled result, error, or status data.
